CD Paidos Dénia once again proves to be the best team in the Valencian Community for the fifth consecutive year. This latest title was secured by the cadet team on Saturday after defeating Nueva Elda FS on their challenging home ground with a score of 2 to 4.

In this final playoff match, the goal was not to lose, as a defeat would have crowned Nueva Elda FS as champions. The team's determination was crucial, and indeed, the entire squad was confident of victory, which they demonstrated on the field.

After initial cautious play from both teams, it was the Dénia side that first broke the deadlock. In the 9th minute, they took the lead with a goal from Albert Llorca.

The home team responded well against a rival that maintained its intensity in a packed arena full of supporters from both sides. The halftime score was 0 to 1 in favor of the visitors.

Clear Ideas

In the second half, as time progressed, the excitement grew. Dénia's coach, Nata Grimalt, had a clear strategy which he communicated to his players. After the initial local attacks on the Dénia goal, defended by Cayetano Iglesias, the school team secured victory with two quick goals from Javi Arroyo.

With such a clear lead, CD Paidos Dénia maintained their pace against a Nueva Elda FS that had to take risks. The local response came with a goal from Juan Cerdá. However, the Dénia team quickly answered with another goal from Javi Arroyo. With the score at 1 to 4, the Elda team managed to score again, making it 2 to 4, through Cristian Molla.
