The National Police has arrested the owner of an awning installation company in Elche for illegally employing three foreigners. The employees did not have work permits, and two of them were in an irregular situation. Additionally, one of them had not been promised any salary.

According to a statement from the security force, investigations into this situation began after stopping a work van driving through the town. Inside, the two men claimed to be employees of an awning installation company, although one of them did not have a work permit and also lacked a labor contract.

After learning these facts, the information was forwarded to the immigration and border unit of the Elche Police Station, which initiated appropriate inquiries into this company. After gathering all the information, a joint operation was set up with the Labor Inspection to inspect the business.
