Hércules will be well-supported on their visit to Real Murcia on Saturday, January 18th at 8:00 PM. Over a thousand blue-and-white fans have already purchased their tickets, prompting the Pimentonero club to open another stand to accommodate those traveling from Alicante. Moreover, this number could grow exponentially if Hércules manages to kick off 2025 with a victory against Betis B (5:00 PM) in their return to competition this coming Sunday.

The first-leg derby already witnessed a spectacular atmosphere as the massive traveling grana fans occupied the Mundial Stand, not without incidents such as object throwing and serious insults, as well as the removal of dozens of seats.

Meanwhile, the Hércules squad is focused on preparing for the challenging match against Betis B, which will be particularly demanding as the verdiblanco reserve team occupies promotion spots and boasts one of the most formidable attacks in Group II of RFEF. They are the second-highest scoring team (with 26 goals, only behind Castilla with 27) and will challenge Hércules on a large pitch with plenty of space like the Rico Pérez.

Regarding the transfer market, there are few updates in the offices of Romeu Zarandieta, as the initial options are definitively distancing themselves, and it seems that new faces will arrive in the final stretch of this transfer window. Eldense forward Alan Godoy was a priority target for technical secretary Paco Peña and coach Rubén Torrecilla, but it is very likely he will join Castilla for a fee of around two million euros. Hércules could not match those figures and has already shifted focus to other profiles.

Although the club only confirms their desire to strengthen the attack, positions such as defensive midfield, left-back, and central defense are also likely to be improved, depending on what the Segunda División discard market offers. In terms of departures, the most likely seems to be forward Marcos Mendes, who has a strong reputation in Segunda RFEF after achieving two consecutive promotions with an average of 13 goals per season.
