Over One and a Half Million Passengers Used Alicante's Tram in May
Line 2 was the most used, and Luceros was the busiest station

In May, the Alicante Tram transported 1,668,163 passengers across its network, which consists of four tram lines, one train-tram line, and one conventional train line. The busiest day was Friday, the 30th, with 62,598 passengers.
Overall, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) recorded a total of 9,727,297 movements in May, combining Metrovalencia's 8,059,143 passengers and TRAM d'Alacant's 1,668,163 users, according to FGV.
According to line distribution, Line 2, connecting Luceros with Sant Vicent del Raspeig, was the most used with 685,096 movements. It was followed by Line 1, linking Luceros and Benidorm, with 336,171; Line 3, connecting Luceros with El Campello, with 262,380; Line 4, linking Luceros with Plaza La Coruña, with 183,807; Line 9, running between Benidorm and Dénia, with 113,481; and Line 5, connecting Porta del Mar and Plaza La Coruña, with 87,228 trips.
In terms of station traffic, Luceros saw 279,497 passengers and Mercado 179,133. They were followed by Sant Vicent del Raspeig with 117,800; Marq-Castillo with 94,144; and Benidorm with 72,918 users.
From there to the tenth position were El Campello with 58,618; Pintor Gastón Castelló with 54,492; Garbinet with 52,206; Bulevar del Pla with 52,075; and Hospital with 44,074 movements.
