Over 8,200 Students Sit University Entrance Exams in Alicante

Decrease in Students at UA (-3.15%), Slight Increase at UMH (0.7%)

8,254 students are set to determine their academic future next week in the province of Alicante. This is the number of students who will take the University Entrance Exams (PAU) of 2025, starting on Tuesday, June 3rd, and concluding on Thursday, June 5th, in the regular session.

By universities, 3,993 will sit the exams at the University of Alicante (a 3.15% decrease from the previous session), and 4,261 will do so at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (0.7% more than last year).

Exam Schedule

The regular session exams will begin on Tuesday, June 3rd, with the Spanish Language exam and will end on Thursday, June 5th, with exams in Artistic Drawing II, Performing Arts II, Musical Analysis II, Mathematics II, Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences, Latin II, and General Sciences. If there is a scheduling conflict, some exams may be held on Friday, June 6th.

The results will be available on June 13th from 1 PM, and the review period will be from June 16th to 18th until 2 PM. The final results will be published on June 20th.

Throughout the Valencian Community, 41.5% of the students taking the exams are male, while the remaining 58.5% are female. The majority of these students, 91.5%, are entering the PAU after completing their Baccalaureate, while the remaining 8.5% are doing so after completing a vocational training course, as explained by the regional secretary of Universities, Esther Gómez.
