In a few months, the OMODA brand has managed to make a significant mark on Spain's sales charts with a single model. A car that from October receives some aesthetic and mechanical changes, following the concept that the brand calls 'dynamic product evolution'.

In the mechanical section, the new OMODA 5 2025 will be offered with a Euro6E gasoline engine of the same displacement (1,598 cc), but with a power of 145 HP (108 kW) and a torque of 275 Nm.

This four-cylinder inline block, transversely mounted, has been specially tuned to achieve a new balance between performance and sustainability. In fact, its official combined consumption remains at 7l/100 km and its emissions now drop to 159 g/km (WLTP). This favorably impacts the registration tax (which is reduced by 5%), so the vehicle's MSRP, despite the improvements, does not increase. It declares an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds and a top speed of 195 km/h.

The cabin is now more technological and intuitive. It features clean, elegant, and ergonomic master lines, very similar to the 'zero emissions' version of the OMODA 5 -the OMODA 5 EV-, with quality levels in materials and finishes more typical of higher segments.

Behind the synthetic leather multifunction steering wheel, equipped with integrated buttons and a smooth touch, with the gear selector and other basic controls in a satellite-type arrangement, there is now a large thinner digital screen with dual viewing, composed of two other 12.3-inch (26 cm) LCDs each. Its operation combines touch commands with voice commands in an infotainment system from which all climate control, audio, telephony functions, and customization of many of the vehicle's main parameters are managed.

New interior of the OMODA 5 F. P.

In the new OMODA 5 2025, the central console is floating and consists of a second clearly differentiated module but follows the same design language as the entire set. In it, simplicity and elegance translate into a single line of physical quick access buttons -for climate control and driving mode selection-, between two refined covers that hide practical storage compartments and phone holder -with wireless induction charging (50W)-. Below, there is space for larger items and useful connection ports (USB, USB-C, and 12V).

As for the trunk, the OMODA 5 now has a much more versatile floor, with two adjustable trays at different levels to make better use of its load capacity.

More complete entry-level finish

Externally, new identifying elements stand out that go far beyond aesthetics. Among others, the word OMODA appears in the center of the rear lights; an aerodynamic appendage is added over the tailgate; new low-wind-resistance 18-inch wheels are included as standard; Kumho brand tires; and new body color configurations.

It also comes standard with roof bars for carrying luggage and more effective parking sensors on the front grille.

In the new OMODA 5, the entry-level trim (Comfort) takes a step up and comes closer than ever to the top-of-the-range trim (Premium), although both maintain their prices. In fact, the former now also comes standard with a central rearview mirror equipped with a USB interface for DVR installation (digital video recorder -camera not included-), automatic high beam to low beam assistant, rain sensor with automatic speed adjustment, USB and USB-C port for rear seats, and black interior cabin.

It will be available from €27,900 in the entry-level Comfort trim and €29,900 in the top-of-the-range Premium trim.
