Olga Carmona, leader and captain of Real Madrid, will not renew her contract with the white club and will play for PSG from the next season. After five years defending the white jersey, the scorer of the goal that gave Spain its first world title has decided to accept an irresistible offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sevillian defender ends her relationship with Madrid this summer and, according to Cope, has already signed a contract with PSG. The French club has moved for Olga Carmona to replace Sakina Karchaoui, who has transitioned from left-back to central midfielder since the World Cup.

Despite being only 23 years old, Olga Carmona is, alongside Tere Abelleira and Misa Rodríguez, one of the most veteran players of Real Madrid after spending five years with the team she joined in 2020 from Sevilla. She has been playing for the white team since its inception, following the merger of the club presided over by Florentino Pérez with Tacón. With Real Madrid, she is already the player with the most matches played (182).

Olga Carmona's goal was to sign for Olympique Lyon, eight-time European champions and current continental runners-up, but PSG not only presented her with a superior financial proposal but also a future project aimed at competing for all titles in France and aspiring one day to conquer the Champions League.

Olga Carmona usually plays as a left-back, although her offensive projection also makes her stand out as a winger, a position where she began her career, and her versatility also allows her to play as a midfielder if necessary.
