The 32nd Azorín Novel Prize gala will be open to the public. Attendees must present their invitation at the ADDA entrance, which can be obtained for free through the Alicante Provincial Council.
The Alicante institution has opened the application period for invitations to the Azorín Novel Prize, which will take place on Thursday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in the ADDA Symphony Hall. Attendees must enter the auditorium between 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Tickets can be requested online via the email protocolo.adda@diputacionalicante.es, indicating name and surname. Two passes per person and request will be issued, according to the order of email reception, until capacity is reached.
The ceremony announcing the winning novel will feature numerous writers and journalists from the national and international scene, as well as representatives of Alicante society.
This award, organized annually by the Alicante Provincial Council and Grupo Planeta, has set a historic record with the number of submissions, totaling 643 works from around the world. The Azorín Prize is valued at 45,000 euros.
The Azorín Novel Prize gala will be hosted by journalist Berta Collado, who will introduce performances by the ADDA Simfònica wind quintet, playing 'La vida breve' by Manuel de Falla and 'El baile de Luis Alonso' by Gerónimo Giménez, as well as a dramatized reading by actor Ramón Barea.
