Recently, controversy erupted following statements by Canarian presenter Roberto Herrera regarding the alleged snubs Ana Obregón made towards Nía Correira during the filming of the 2022 New Year's Eve advertisement. The uproar was such that the actress felt compelled to explain herself, most recently on the show 'Y ahora Sonsoles', where she pleaded to be left alone: "I beg you, for God's sake, leave me alone," she implored Correira after sharing her side of the story about the advertisement shoot in which the singer ultimately did not appear.

According to Herrera on the podcast 'El Salpique', Nía did not participate in the filming because Ana Obregón "made her cry." "Nía cried her eyes out. My colleagues Los Morancos and I witnessed how Ana Obregón treated Nía during the advertisement shoot. A myth fell for me," the presenter recounted, attributing the issues to a possible bout of jealousy from the veteran presenter and actress: "The girl is very pretty, young, etc., etc. That's why Nía doesn't appear in the national ad, because she refused to participate after being made to cry."

Prior to this, in a 2024 interview, the singer had already hinted at some issues in this regard, although without naming names. "A very famous lady from the television world made my life impossible. She treated me terribly, very badly, and I stopped filming. I left crying, which had never happened to me before," she recounted.

Immediately, Ana Obregón came forward to deny it. "I'm in shock, I swear. I've been in this profession for 41 years, and no one has ever said anything bad about me. For me, the workplace is sacred," she stated on the show 'Y ahora Sonsoles', where she collaborates. "I only told her to hurry up because I had to leave for a personal matter," she explained. Visibly affected, she recalled that Nía arrived late and nervous, "an hour and a half passed, and she hadn't arrived. She was crying," she remembered. "When she came down, she couldn't get the line out. She was very nervous. It was TVE's decision for her to go relax. I don't know more," she concluded, asking to be left in peace: "Nía dear, I wish you the best in the world. If you felt offended by me telling you to hurry up, I'm very sorry. I beg you, for God's sake, let me live in peace."

According to Ana's explanations, the personal commitment she had to attend was a mass in memory of her son, who had passed away in May 2020. At that time, the actress also had to cope with the grief of her mother, whom she had lost in May 2021, and the pain of her father's death just weeks before the advertisement shoot, in September 2022. In this context, she dismissed any possibility of jealousy towards the young singer: "When she becomes a mother, and if she loses her child, she will understand that there is no jealousy of a girl. I don't even look in the mirror, I couldn't care less about anything. I need peace. Is it so difficult to ask for peace?"

She was less lenient with Roberto Herrera, whom she accused of artificially provoking this controversy for notoriety. "I'm shocked. Why is Roberto bringing this up now? Does the public know who Roberto is? He premieres a show today and uses this," she asserted. "Notoriety is earned through work, effort, sacrifice. It's not gained for self-promotion; you earn it by working," she reproached the presenter, wishing him luck in his new project: "Good luck, let's see if anyone watches."

But this is not the only controversy Ana Obregón has faced these days, as there has also been talk of an alleged clash with María Pombo, which the influencer immediately denied: "What I remember is that we both had the same side (good profile) and that we both wanted the same side, but there was no critical moment or anything," she explained. A version that coincides with the actress's. "We were fighting over the side, it's a silly thing. It happens a lot. In cinema, with actors... It's something normal," Ana noted without giving it much importance.

For now, Los Morancos have chosen not to comment; however, Ana Obregón has found support from Alessandro Lecquio's audience, who did not hesitate to affirm that "bringing up this topic three years later reeks of publicity stunt." The Italian stood up for his child's mother on the show 'Vamos a ver' and made it clear: "She is a great worker, and anyone can say that. She is a hard worker from head to toe, but above all, she is a good person."
