National Occupational Health Days in Alicante on May 9 and 10

Alicante will host its first national Occupational Health Days on May 9 and 10. The event, organised by the Spanish Confederation of Medical Unions (CESM), will take place at the Alicante Conference Centre.

Throughout five presentations, various areas impacting the occupational health of professionals will be discussed. Following the inauguration by the president and secretary general of CESM and the president of COMA – Miguel Lázaro, Víctor Pedrera, and Hermann Schwarz, respectively – the first presentation will address the current state of the medical profession in Europe, concluding Friday afternoon with another presentation on CESM's stance on the draft Framework Statute from the Ministry of Health.

On Saturday, the protocols for Occupational Risk Prevention delegates will be addressed first, followed by an in-depth look at the relationship between occupational health, mental health, and Paime. Before the closing, there will be a presentation titled "Occupational Risk Prevention in Healthcare. Impact on faculty as public employees. Concurrence and precedence of rights. Legal actions."

The meeting is aimed at Occupational Health delegates, union delegates, medical residents, medical students, doctors, and legal professionals from confederated unions and invited guests.
