The former president of F.C. Barcelona, Sandro Rosell, will be compensated with 232,500 euros for the 645 days he spent in provisional detention, from May 2017 to February 2019. He was accused of criminal organization and money laundering related to commissions from Brazilian national team matches and a contract with a sports brand, a judicial process from which he was acquitted. This decision was made by the National Court, which partially upheld Rosell's claim after he sought 29.7 million euros in compensation from the State.
