Mutxamel and Sant Joan join forces to celebrate the 10th Bike Tour promoting sustainable mobility. The morning sports event will take place on October 20th, featuring a 14-kilometer route along with workshops and children's activities to emphasize the importance of sustainability and the use of public and non-polluting transport.

The activity, which both municipalities carry out together, will start at Ravel Park (Calle Pintor Marià Fortuny), where at 9:00 a.m. the collection of bib numbers will take place, and at 10:00 a.m. the tour will begin to travel through the streets of Mutxamel until reaching Manzaneta Park in Sant Joan, where a stop will be made to regain strength; then the route will continue back to the starting point, thus concluding the morning sports event.

Additionally, at the start and finish point, games and workshops have been prepared between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to ensure that both adults and children continue to raise awareness and keep emphasizing the importance of aspects such as sustainability and climate change. At the end of the tour, a raffle will be held among the participants with sponsored materials.

Among the instructions emphasized by both councils, the importance of participants not leaving the group or exceeding the boundaries set by the police forces and the mandatory use of helmets. Minors between 8, the minimum age to participate, and 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
