The Market Department of Villena City Council continues its commitment to invigorate the Municipal Market with activities that encourage shopping and attract visitors. This time, festive music will be the highlight of the celebrations in honor of the Moors and Christians festival.

On August 30 and 31, the Big Soci group, composed of musicians from Villena's Ruperto Chapí Musical Society, will offer roaming performances throughout the market. Visitors will be able to enjoy festive music and brass band tunes while shopping, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

Additionally, the Municipal Market will have special hours before the festivities and will open its doors on September 2, 3, and 4 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The traditional Thursday market will be moved up to Wednesday, September 4, maintaining its usual location at the fairgrounds.
