The Mundomar Foundation has renewed and expanded its collaboration with the Princess Rett Association, an alliance that dates back to 2015. Thanks to this agreement, dozens of girls with Rett Syndrome have been able to participate in the dolphin-assisted therapy offered by the Foundation at its nature park in Benidorm.
Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder that almost exclusively affects girls, causing severe disability that impacts nearly all aspects of their lives: speaking, walking, eating, and even breathing normally. The Princess Rett Association is dedicated to providing unconditional support to these girls and their families, offering services that improve their quality of life and promoting awareness campaigns with the help of public figures from the film and music industries.
This year, Mundomar has increased by 57% the number of spots allocated to the Princess Rett Association for dolphin therapy. This therapy, which Mundomar has been offering altruistically for more than twenty years, is unique in the world as it is completely free for families. Additionally, the Princess Rett Association has donated a motorized chair to facilitate the movement of the girls around the park's facilities.

The Mundomar Foundation and the Princess Rett Association continue working together to improve the quality of life for girls affected by this severe disease, reaffirming their commitment to well-being and awareness about Rett Syndrome.
The Princess Rett Association was founded in 2013 with the aim of addressing the needs of families with girls affected by Rett syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disease that receives little funding for research. This condition creates significant dependence in the girls, placing substantial demands and needs on their families.
Since its inception, the association has had clear objectives: to fund and promote research lines, as well as to improve the quality and life expectancy of girls with Rett syndrome. Among the most notable achievements of the Princess Rett Association is the Public Utility Declaration obtained in 2021. Currently, the association has five branches distributed throughout Spain, allowing it to extend its reach and support to more families.
