The general secretary of the PSPV, Diana Morant, criticised that the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, arrives in the Valencian Community "late and with cutbacks" by announcing a Valencia Plan of 12 billion euros when the Spanish Government has already approved more than 16 billion euros.
Furthermore, Morant lamented that the Valencian Community "does not deserve a knocked-out president" and emphasised to Feijóo that "224 deaths are not an error without malice or insignificant mistakes": "The Valencian Community does not deserve a 'president' knocked-out nor one who makes mistakes without malice that cost so many lives." Therefore, she stressed that "the greatest hope of the Valencians is that Mazón, who neither was nor is up to the task, leaves."

The Minister of Science also noted that she was surprised that in the event with businessmen "the president Mazón did not speak": "I think Mr. Feijóo increasingly dislikes being surrounded" by him. Morant criticised that "it is not only Mazón we had in the Ventorro, we had the entire Consell involved in the Ventorro."
Thus, she pointed out that the Infrastructure Minister was at a gala handing out awards while, according to the Metro Valencia report, that day "many metro trains were isolated and cut off"; the Vice President and Minister of Social Services was also at an award ceremony "when the elderly in care homes were having a very hard time" or while educational centres were "flooded"; the Education Minister "was already returning home to rest in Alicante." "The lamentable thing is that the PP of Spain and Feijóo have also preferred to enter the Ventorro rather than stand by the Valencians," she reproached.
Similarly, she attacked Feijóo's "lie" for "saying and repeating" that the Government has not requested the European Solidarity Fund, "when it has been requested since November 4th" and furthermore, she emphasised, "we are going to complete that file in due time and form to claim these funds from Europe."
"The Valencians should not be swayed by the big lie of the PP because we all know what would have happened in this storm if they had governed, because they never protect the citizens as was already seen in the previous financial crisis with cuts, misery and unemployment, while our Government, in the storm as in the pandemic, we are saving people's jobs with furlough schemes," she compared.
