Minor Loses Vision After Homophobic Attack in Barcelona

On the early morning of Friday, November 1st, the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly committing a homophobic assault against a minor in a bar in central Manresa (Barcelona), after which the victim lost vision in one eye.

According to 'Regió 7' and confirmed by Catalan police sources to Europa Press, the incident occurred around 3:30 am outside the establishment where both parties met, and the assault was allegedly motivated by the victim's sexual orientation.

The Mossos arrested the man that same night near the scene of the incident for discrimination-related injuries to a minor, and subsequently, the victim filed a complaint regarding the incident.
