Michelin Rooftop Reopens in Alicante Municipality

"The best Mediterranean terrace of the summer." This rooftop boasts having "the best views" of the Alicante coast. These complement the offerings of its Michelin-starred restaurant.

This 'rooftop', reopened for the high season, allows guests to extend their afternoons to enjoy cocktails with live music and views of a provincial emblem by the sea: the Peñón de Ifach.

'O·B Rooftop' is the rooftop of the Orobianco restaurant in Calpe, located on the hills of this Marina Alta municipality in Alicante. It is an open space overlooking the sea "with a casual air" and the "same quality standards as the main restaurant."

Orobianco not only boasts its Michelin star but also claims to be the best Italian restaurant in Spain, according to the '50 Top Italy' guide.

The Orobianco rooftop, 'O·B Rooftop', features a 'comfort food' menu and high-level cocktails. Among the dishes, they offer various gastronomic proposals to enjoy their flavours in the heights of Calp.

Eggplant and provolone croquette or octopus with romesco sauce, edamame, and spring onions are two of their offerings, served with cocktails. "It's a plan as enviable as it is feasible for anyone who sets out to do it."

Additionally, they propose a menu: starting with tomato ceviche; to share, croquettes, beef tartare, spicy tuna tacos; and as a main, glazed pork ribs. The manager of 'O.B Rooftop', Mihai Moldovan, explains that the rooftop serves "the best local produce."

One of the important features of this rooftop is the cocktail menu: classic combinations, spritz, signature cocktails, and also "the latest trends and alcohol-free mixology." Its manager emphasizes that "we work a lot with local products, as well as national and Italian."

The Orobianco rooftop, 'O·B Rooftop', opens in the afternoon and evening until next autumn. During these times, events, afterworks, and private parties will also be held, "the perfect seasoning to an extensive weekly musical programme."

This sea-view terrace also features live performances on Saturdays - along with high season Fridays - by music groups like Koa Music and Duo Dealer or DJs like Illan and Guille.
