Melody was aware that half of Spain, or perhaps the entire nation, was eagerly awaiting one of the voices that had dominated the airwaves in recent months. However, after finishing third from last at the Eurovision festival, her presence had somewhat faded. Nine days post-festival, despite the controversy surrounding Israel's participation and RTVE's call for a full audit of the final results, Melody broke her silence this Monday. She felt it necessary to address the public to dispel the numerous rumours surrounding her family and recent days. 'I was very surprised because there's talk about work-life balance, and I'm surprised it wasn't understood that I needed some quiet days at home.'

After calling for peace and a world filled with love, Melody assured that she strives to contribute positively to the world. However, she reminded everyone that human rights take precedence over everything.

Despite everything, she asserted that the excitement generated by her return to Spain from Basel indicates that 'something very good has happened.' Therefore, she did not want to overlook the moment, despite the 15-minute delay in starting the press conference, and expressed her eagerness to explain her experience at the festival. It was a moment she recalls with 'great satisfaction,' during which RTVE, nevertheless, refuted the rumours that emerged last week. 'I was very surprised because there's talk about work-life balance, and I'm surprised it wasn't understood that I needed some quiet days at home.'
