President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has requested a special investment plan from Banco Sabadell for individuals, businesses, and municipalities affected by the floods to boost the economic and social reconstruction of our region. This statement was made following his meeting with Banco Sabadell's president, Josep Oliu, and the bank's CEO, César González-Bueno.
In this regard, the head of the Consell has announced that the Generalitat and the financial entity will create a working group to swiftly implement a new package of measures aimed at assisting people, shops, and businesses affected by the floods.

Thus, the president assured that this plan will include various initiatives offering "facilities and advantages" for those affected, while highlighting the financial entity's willingness "to continue playing an active and fundamental role in the recovery of the Valencian Community."
Similarly, he emphasized Banco Sabadell's commitment to maintaining employment and its network of offices in the Valencian Community following its decision to relocate its headquarters.
It is worth remembering that the Generalitat opened a solidarity account on October 30 in collaboration with the financial entity, with all proceeds going towards repairing damage after the disaster. The account has raised over 10 million euros, of which three million have been contributed by Banco Sabadell.
Additionally, the entity approved an extension of 100 million euros to the line of credit available to the Generalitat, while also increasing the financing and guarantee programs of the Reciprocal Guarantee Society (SGR) to assist businesses.
