More changes and appointments are on the horizon for the new Consell's organisational structure. The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, continues to fine-tune the new ministries and also to restructure those that have undergone changes in leadership. These have seen modifications in their heads.

This is particularly the case for the new Ministry of Emergencies and Interior, which has been separated from Justice. The Secretary of Emergencies, Emilio Argüeso, remains in charge, pending his future, similar to former consellera Salomé Pradas. His future is yet to be determined.

The Castellón native was dismissed on Wednesday night when Mazón announced his replacements. Juan Carlos Valderrama Zuirán is the new Minister of Emergencies and Interior, and Nuria Martínez Sanchis is the new Minister of Justice. These changes concluded with dismissals in the Consell's front line.

The changes began with the spokesperson role, which shifted from Ruth Merino to Vice President Susana Camarero. Following this, the dismissal of Nuria Montes was announced and Marián Cano was appointed as the new Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism; followed by the new Vice Presidency for Economic and Social Recovery, led by Francisco José Gan Pampols.

The President's office explained that in the coming days, the Consell will work on organising the structures and organisational charts of the new departments, where changes in temporary staff are also expected.

Once the front line is renewed, the appointments will be published this Friday, 22nd November, in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as the new structure of the Consell. Following this, the inauguration of the new members joining the Valencian Government is scheduled for Tuesday, 26th.

In this symbolic handover of portfolios, the new Consell will meet in its first plenary session to address the reconstruction of the Valencian Community, affected by the devastating consequences of the DANA on 29th October.

During the inauguration of the new cabinet members, President Mazón will deliver an institutional address outlining the plans and the lines of action that will guide the economic and social recovery in the Valencian Community.

Professional Profiles of Proven Competence

The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has expressed gratitude for the commitment of the new Consell members who have embraced the challenge presented. "Their generosity and dedication in putting their professional careers at the service of Valencian society."

The head of the Consell stated that both the new additions and the consellers remaining in the Valencian Government are professional profiles "of proven competence that form the team needed by the Valencian Community to recover the affected areas and restore normal conditions to the affected citizens."

Mazón emphasised that "it is time for recovery and for us to rise as a society" and urged to "turn our pain into economic and social recovery."
