Carlos Mazón warns that both the Valencian Community and the People's Party will oppose any attempt to promote the "fantasy" of the 'Països Catalans' as long as he remains at the helm of the Consell.

"This is over," asserts the Alicante native, ensuring that "every time there is even a slight move, we will be there to counter it." Regarding this issue, the former president of the Alicante Provincial Council urges that "no one raises that flag," dismissing it as "nonsense" and "foolishness."

Following an event by the Arran collective at the Gràcia neighborhood festivities in Barcelona, where a photograph with his face was burned—an act condemned by the PPCV on social media—Mazón stated that it affects him "very little."

"I know they will keep trying; not just them: Esquerra Republicana, Junts... they have been talking about 'Països Catalans' for far too long," denounced the president of the Generalitat.
