Masymas opens new supermarket in Dénia after a €4 million investment

Masymas, the company from Pedreguer, has opened its new supermarket in Dénia following an investment of €4.1 million. This marks their fourth store in the town, strengthening their presence in the Marina Alta city.

The centre, located at 11 Corona Boreal Street, near the Camí de Sant Joan roundabout, was inaugurated with the presence of Dénia's mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the general director of Masymas Supermarkets, José Juan Fornés, accompanied by numerous representatives from the city's social, business, and economic sectors.

With a sales area of 1,510 square metres, according to Masymas, the supermarket has created 35 jobs. Additionally, it features a car park with space for 120 vehicles, including three spots equipped with chargers for electric cars.

Like other newly opened stores, the supermarket emphasises fresh produce as a hallmark and differentiating element of the chain, with sections such as 'Butchery', 'Charcuterie', and 'Fishmonger', alongside a large area dedicated to 'Fruits and Vegetables', and a varied selection of freshly baked pastries and breads in the 'Bakery' section, as well as a patisserie offering artisanal products.

The new store also includes 'Kitchen' and 'Café Zone' sections. In the former, homemade takeaway meals are prepared daily, offering a wide range of dishes based on the Mediterranean diet, along with made-to-order paellas, while the Café Zone serves as a designated rest area.

Furthermore, the establishment incorporates energy efficiency measures that reduce consumption by up to 30%, such as LED lighting, freezers and cold display units with doors, energy recovery systems in ventilation, and a glass facade that maximises natural light.
