Masymas launches 300 new summer job positions

Masymas, the company based in Pedreguer, has announced 300 new job openings to bolster its workforce for the summer season. This initiative aims to enhance service in the most tourist-frequented areas of its 116 stores located in the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia, as well as its central warehouse in the Marina Alta.

Progressive hiring is expected to begin in May, allowing new employees to receive the necessary training to meet demand. These contracts will last until the end of August, with the possibility of extension until mid-September or conversion into permanent positions.

Previous experience is not a mandatory requirement, as the company values skills such as proactivity, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. In fact, during 2024, the supermarket chain offered more than 27,000 hours of training to its staff.

The positions to be filled include cashiers, stockers, and staff for various supermarket sections. Masymas reached 2,740 employees in 2024, a number that continues to rise with the latest openings and with reinforcements for the summer season.
