Marta Peñate Reveals Possible Cause of Miscarriage: 'A Chromosomal Anomaly'

Marta Peñate and Tony Spina have been open with their followers about their journey to parenthood from the start. A few weeks ago, the couple joyfully announced that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, shortly after, they revealed that Marta had suffered a miscarriage. Following their interview on 'De Viernes!', where they discussed the difficulties they are facing, the reality show contestant explained what might have caused her miscarriage: 'A chromosomal anomaly.'

Marta mentioned that blood was drawn to analyze the embryo's DNA. 'It might have been a chromosomal anomaly. They will tell me in five or six days,' she detailed, although for now, 'it's not known what happened.'

Despite this setback, she remains hopeful of becoming a mother and plans to try again: 'I still have two frozen embryos, and we will try with them, and that's it,' she assured during her television appearance. She also admitted that she was too eager to announce her pregnancy in its early weeks: 'I was overwhelmed by excitement.' Therefore, she has decided to remain silent in her next opportunity.
