Mario Vaquerizo had to receive urgent medical attention after a severe fall during his last concert in Cáceres this Saturday. The lead singer of Las Nancys Rubias fell from the rotating platform he was on and had to be treated on-site by medical services. He was immediately transferred to the University Hospital of Cáceres, where he remains under observation while undergoing various tests to rule out any health issues resulting from the incident.

From the outset, the event organizers communicated that the fall "was severe, but he is fine. Medical services attended to him and transferred him to the hospital." Similarly, the singer of Nebulossa, Spain's representative at Eurovision 2024, stated, "He seems to be fine," although she noted that "he had to have stitches in his head." It is expected that once the results of the medical examinations are known, the singer may be discharged in the coming hours.

Vaquerizo and Las Nancys had traveled to the Extremaduran city to participate in the Horteralia Festival, sharing the stage with other artists such as King África, Nena Daconte, and Nebulossa. In a video that quickly went viral, it shows how Alaska's husband loses his balance on the rotating platform and, trying to get down in his usual impossible high heels, ends up falling off the stage, from a height of about two meters.
