Isa Pantoja's heart-wrenching interview last Friday, where she spoke about her childhood and teenage memories, continues to make waves. One of the most sought-after testimonies has been that of María del Monte, godmother to Isabel Pantoja's daughter and inseparable friend of the tonadillera during the time she decided to become a mother again through international adoption. María was very present during Isa Pantoja's early years in Spain, and despite the two singers drifting apart, she has continued to maintain contact with her goddaughter.

Always discreet, this time she felt it was important to speak out, as she expressed upon her arrival at Santa Justa station in Seville: "You know that for many years I've said I have nothing to say, but this time I do have something to say." "If what my goddaughter has said is true, it seems like a solemn atrocity to me. A solemn atrocity," she emphasized. For her, Isa is "someone I have loved, love, and will love all my life." She expressed similar sentiments on the set of 'Y ahora Sonsoles', where she collaborates: "I have been silent for 23 years, and I will continue to be silent about anything related to my private and intimate life, but I do want, because my heart needs it, for Isa to know that I am here, that if she needs me, I am here as I have always been."

In any case, the Andalusian singer did not want to reveal whether she has been in contact with the young woman in recent days and did not provide any details about the adoption process. However, she did warn that she will take measures against those who speculate about her goddaughter's arrival in Spain and her relationship with the process.

But not all words were of support. Another close friend of Isabel Pantoja, who has been by the family's side for years, responded to Asraf Beno's wife. Raquel Bollo recounted on 'TardeAR' what she experienced within the Pantoja family, which is very different from Isa's account on 'De Viernes'. "The girl was allowed many things, even mistreating Dulce," she recalled, while affirming that "I have never heard Isabel speak ill of her daughter." Regarding her grandmother's slights, Manuel Cortés's mother recalled some beautiful moments, like when she saw the girl "laughing heartily and playing pranks on her grandmother in the Madrid kitchen, and styling and making her up."

Regarding the hose episode, where Kiko Rivera showered his sister with cold water in a sort of purification, Raquel distanced her son and clarified that it was not like that: "It was not any kind of cleansing. Who would think that? Let her tell it and why it happened." "What she doesn't say is that her uncle was the one who stopped it," she added. This account earned her the reproach of Marisa Martín Blázquez, who accused Raquel of "not being sincere in these statements because she knows what happened in that lamentable, despicable hose episode."

Irene Rosales, Kiko Rivera's wife, was more conciliatory. Although she defended her husband, she also acknowledged the pain her sister-in-law might have gone through. "I have empathy and feel a lot for what Isa might have gone through, but I can't do anything. I also have many problems and I deal with them," she pointed out. She also made it clear that "what my husband had to apologize for, he has done." "He is being burdened with a responsibility from when he was in his early twenties and simply fulfilled a task," she defended.
