It is the chronicle of a foretold departure. Maria Grazia Chiuri is leaving Dior after nine years at the creative helm of the French brand. The arrival of Jonathan Anderson from Loewe to oversee the men's collections since June already hinted that the Irishman would not be content with just the masculine side of the maison.
The Italian has expressed gratitude for "the extraordinary opportunity" to work for the prestigious brand and has dedicated words to Arnault "for having trusted" her and to Delphine "for her support," while also praising the work done by her teams and workshops. "Their talent and expertise have allowed me to realise my vision of a committed feminine fashion, in close dialogue with several generations of women artists. Together, we have written a remarkable and impactful chapter of which I am immensely proud," she highlighted on her Instagram account.
