The IES Maria Blasco of San Vicente del Raspeig Wins the Joan Ponsoda Educational Innovation Award

The IES Maria Blasco of San Vicente del Raspeig has been awarded the Joan Ponsoda 2024 Educational Innovation Award. La Cívica – Escola Valenciana de l'Alacantí and the City Council of Sant Joan d'Alacant will present the award this Friday, October 25, starting at 7:00 PM at the "Miquel Grau" conference room of the Municipal Library "Amèlia Asensi Bevià" of the Sant Joan d'Alacant City Council (Avda. Rambla de la Libertad 22, Sant Joan d'Alacant).

Representatives from the Sant Joan City Council, members of the Board of La Cívica – Escola Valenciana de l'Alacantí, representatives from the IES Maria Blasco of San Vicente del Raspeig, and Professor Joan Ponsoda will participate in the event.

The aim of this award is to promote and recognize the innovative educational work carried out daily in the classrooms of our region's educational centers, which is often unknown to the majority of the educational community.

In this ninth edition, the jury has considered the project 'Parlant ens entenem' as a recognition of the center's firm commitment to incorporating leading educational initiatives that contribute to developing and stimulating creative and critical thinking skills.
