Marc Márquez Dominates the Sprint

Marc Márquez had a perfect Saturday by also winning the sprint race, held under intense heat at Motorland. After a poor start, the rider from Lleida recovered in time to reign once again in his domain and extend his lead in the World Championship standings.

It was an extraordinary day for the Spaniards, as two seconds behind Marc, his brother Álex crossed the finish line, while Fermín Aldeguer, his garage mate, climbed to the third step of the podium. A perfect race for the two Gresini riders, and another triple victory, the same as at the French GP, for Ducati.
