El Teatre Arniches de Alicante prepares to host the show 'So Many Flowers' on its stage. The performance by the Losdedae company will take place this Friday, March 14th at 8:30 PM.
The dance-theatre piece, created by dancer and creator Chevy Muraday and Alejandro Palomas, establishes a dialogue between words and the body, focusing on the reunion of two men in the park where they played as children.
Thus, the IVC coliseum on Aguilera Avenue will address themes such as reconciliation, orphanhood, forgiveness, humour, mutual distrust, and the re-evaluation of the past in a mutual exercise of memory and honesty between the two performers.
Chevi Muraday is one of the great figures of Spanish contemporary dance, a status confirmed by the numerous accolades he has received since founding his company Losdedae in 1997.
In 2006, he received the National Dance Award for interpretation, and later the 2016 Max Award for best dance show for 'In the Desert', along with numerous nominations for many of his performances.
Alejandro Palomas has balanced writing novels with journalism, translation, and poetry. In 2016, he received the National Youth Literature Award for 'A Son' and in 2018 the Nadal Prize for 'A Mother, A Dog, and A Love'. His work has been adapted for the stage and translated into more than twenty-five languages.
