The PP Maintains 'Open Hand' and Offers 'Total Willingness for Dialogue' to Reach an Agreement to Save the Adjustment Plan

The spokesperson for the government team, Cristina Cutanda, explained on Monday that the local Executive maintains its 'open hand and total willingness for dialogue' to craft 'the best possible Economic and Financial Plan' for the Alicante City Council.

'We continue to work and will keep doing so for as long as it takes to ensure that the numerous ongoing projects, which are essential for the physical and urban transformation of the city, are not interrupted and that Alicante continues to progress as it has in recent years,' Cutanda highlighted.

The spokesperson for the local Executive emphasized that, in this negotiation process, the main objective of the Government team is to provide 'stability and security' to the municipal accounts to avoid compromising the execution of any current actions and projects aimed at improving the city.

'And in this vein,' Cutanda added, 'we will continue seeking solutions in defence of the general interest of the people of Alicante and correct anything that can be modified without creating other problems within the development of this Economic and Financial Plan.'
