The Macbor Montana XR1 Evo Reinforced with More Power and Equipment

Macbor renews its Montana XR1, a 125cc Trail bike that, since its arrival in 2017, became a benchmark in the segment, a motorcycle aimed at young riders with an A1 license, car drivers with a B license, or experienced bikers seeking a lightweight, accessible, and versatile Adventure bike. In 2023, it was completely revamped thanks to the Barcelona brand's own development and fully updated equipment.

Now, in 2025, it is renewed again with significant advancements that position it as "top in class": more power, ABS, TCS, 5" TFT with mirroring, 18-inch front wheel, and an updated design.

It features a new single-cylinder engine with 15 HP (3 HP more than its predecessor), 4-stroke, 4-valve, and water-cooled, delivering a torque of 11 Nm at 7,500 rpm, making it the most powerful Trail in its category.

It comes with a dual-channel ABS braking system with three modes: ABS ON, ABS OFF, and rear wheel OFF, and a disconnectable traction control (TCS).

It also sports a new 18-inch front wheel with spoked rims and tubeless mixed tires, ideal for Trail riding.

The design has been updated, incorporating elements such as its new front molding or grips engraved with the brand's name, and the TFT dashboard is 5 inches in color with mirroring connectivity.

In its suspension, the bike is equipped with a hydraulic inverted fork with a 120 mm travel, and a hydraulic monoshock adjustable in preload. The braking system has been optimized: the front brake is a 265 mm disc with a dual-piston floating caliper and ABS system, while the rear, also a disc, is 240 mm with a single-piston floating caliper and ABS ensures. As for the wheels and tires, the Montana XR1 125 EVO mounts tubeless wheels, with a front tire 100/90-18 and a rear 130/80-17, of 18 inches and 17 inches respectively. These wheels have aluminum spokes.

Now it also offers a complete Adventure equipment as standard: a kit of 3 cases (35L Top Case, 15L right case, and 20L left case), side guards, skid plate, and central stand.

The Montana XR1 125 EVO arrives at Macbor Official Dealers available in four colors (White, Red, Blue, and Black), at a price of €3,499.
