Are you looking for work in Alicante? Then mark your calendar for Friday, January 31, starting at 9 AM at Espacio Séneca. Impulsalicante and Labora have organised a new cycle of 'Employment Forums' with around twenty companies eager to recruit new profiles.
The city of Alicante launches this new cycle to bring job opportunities closer to job seekers, which will extend to other municipalities in the region.
In this first event to find employment held in Alicante, 27 companies will participate, including Carrefour, Consum, Hawkers, Laboratorios Cyem, Grupo Alcudia, Pandora Global, SIDI Ingeniería, and Grupo Horneo Fresh.
One of the activities that generates the most interest among participating candidates is the interview marathon, a space designed for 15-minute job interviews to establish a first face-to-face contact between companies and job seekers.
Additionally, simultaneously, conferences, round tables, and workshops will be held to improve the job search process for candidates.
Attendees will also be able to visit the information stand area, where various entities will provide career guidance, training, and information about their activities. Some of the entities that have confirmed their participation include Labora, UGT, the Alicante Employment Pact, CCOO, and CEV.
This initiative is aimed at all people from Alicante and surrounding areas who are in active job search or looking to improve their employment situation.
The Councillor for Employment and Promotion and head of 'Impulsalicante', Mari Carmen de España, has encouraged Alicante residents who are in job search to "participate and access the training and employment opportunities that will be offered at this event organised by Labora in coordination with the Local Development Agency".
The Regional Secretary for Employment, Antonio Galvañ, has highlighted that "the Valencian Employment and Training Service is the ideal intermediary between companies and job seekers, as evidenced by the results achieved in the first 17 forums held, where we have connected nearly 9,000 people registered with Labora en ruta with over 300 companies to fill 995 job positions".
Individuals who wish to secure a job interview can register for job offers through the website www.alicante.laboraenruta.es and, if they meet the requirements, they will be assigned a time to participate in the selection processes with the Human Resources managers of the companies participating in the event.
Registrations through the website will be open until January 28 at 11:59 PM. During the event, those who have not previously registered can request an interview on-site if they bring several copies of their resume in paper form and meet the requirements of the requested offers. If there are openings in the companies' schedules, they may be assigned an interview.
