Lokímica Accelerates Its Ecological Transition with 23 New Electric Vehicles

Lokímica, a leader in pest control and environmental health, takes another step in its commitment to sustainability by adding 23 new electric vehicles in the past year. With this update, its eco-friendly fleet now includes 67 electric vehicles, representing 25% of the corporate fleet.

This progress aligns with the company's strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and minimise environmental impact in the municipalities where it operates. Its clear goal is to achieve a 100% electrified fleet, improving air quality and reducing pollutant emissions.

According to Juan Gonzaga, Operations Manager at Lokímica, electric mobility is key to their transformation: "The incorporation of electric vehicles not only reduces the carbon footprint but also enhances operational efficiency and strengthens our leadership in innovation and sustainability," he asserts.

Additionally, Gonzaga highlighted that "the transition to an electric fleet not only reduces the carbon footprint but also improves operational efficiency and positions us at the forefront of the sector in terms of innovation and environmental responsibility."

He also added that "it is essential to anticipate future challenges and establish strategies that ensure a sustainable business model. Electric mobility is a crucial step in this direction, and we will continue to strengthen our initiatives in this area."

Moreover, the company is adapting its operational routes to the range of the new electric vehicles and installing charging points at its facilities, addressing the limited availability of charging infrastructure on some routes.
