The mayor recalled their efforts in areas such as supporting various productive sectors , developing the city's industrial belt, attracting new businesses and investments, promoting the digital industry, and advocating for the establishment of companies linked to the new economy. "Impulsalicante has succeeded in providing support and momentum across all sectors of the capital's economy."

Barcala emphasised the push for the creation of new industrial land with up to three million square metres promoted by Impulsalicante, the establishment of Management and Modernisation Entities in its business areas, and the joint work with Labora and the Generalitat for the recovery of the Coepa Trade Centre, among others.

At the event, the new image of Impulsalicante was presented, featuring an inclined 'I' of Impulsa leaning on the 'A' of Alicante "as a launch ramp for projects starting in this common house that generates all synergies with various local sectors," explained Pascual Medel, the designer.

Additionally, Barcala and the Employment Councillor, Mari Carmen de España, announced the creation of the 'Alicante Impulsa' awards to recognise individuals, organisations, and institutions that have distinguished themselves in promoting employment and local economic development.

"We are part of the social and entrepreneurial ecosystem, facilitating the realisation of joint projects. And we have maintained a permanent presence in the major economic arenas of the city," recalled De España.
