Live Updates | The Trial of Luis Rubiales Enters Final Session

The National Court is holding what is expected to be the final session of the trial against Luis Rubiales, former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), this Thursday. The trial concerns the kiss given to player Jennifer Hermoso after the 2023 Women's World Cup final and the alleged subsequent coercion to gain her support.

The prosecution presented its final conclusions on Wednesday. In this session, it is the turn of the final arguments from the private prosecution, the public prosecution, and the defence teams. If time permits and Rubiales chooses to do so, the accused may exercise his right to the last word.
