Isabel Pantoja's life will be brought to television following an agreement reached between the singer and Mediacrest Entertainment. The deal includes an option and collaboration for the development of two series about the artist's life: a documentary series and a fictional series initially planned over seven episodes, spanning from her childhood to the present day.
Isabel Pantoja is one of the most globally recognised and influential artists in Spanish music. She began her career in the 1970s, releasing her first album in 1974. Since then, she has produced thirty albums and sold millions of records, with her major hit "Marinero de luces" standing out. Recently, she celebrated her 50 years on stage, during which she has achieved countless successes.
Mediacrest is a Spanish audiovisual production company, based in Barcelona and Madrid, founded in 2018. Since then, it has produced three prime time formats for RTVE and Atresmedia, a daily contest for RTVE, another for Mediaset, the series "Asuntos Internos" with RTVE, and co-produced the film "Daniela Forever" by Nacho Vigalondo, as well as the documentaries "The Sleeper" and "Inside Guggenheim".
Francisco Pou, CEO of Mediacrest, remarked during the signing that "working with an artist of Isabel Pantoja's calibre and bringing a high-quality production to the public with the story of one of the most influential figures in Spanish music is a gift, an exciting challenge that we are thrilled to take on."
For her part, Isabel Pantoja expressed her enthusiasm for the project and her gratitude for this beautiful opportunity to celebrate her more than 50 years of career.
