F*ck Censorship is one of those small-scale festivals that gains more and more followers each year. Perhaps due to its unique timing, as few concerts are held in winter, or because it offers a quality lineup at an affordable price for a single day. Completely outside the summer festival boom, F*ck celebrated its tenth edition as a resounding success with over 90% of tickets sold less than a week before the event.

However, as every year, the festival's strength lay in its lineup. A mix of classic and contemporary Spanish punk bands attracted over 4,000 people to Villena's Bullring, even braving the typical January chill of this inland town. It was worth it, with bands like Non Servium, Reincidentes, and Lendakaris Muertos headlining a lineup that saw a last-minute change. Just hours before the festival began, organisers announced that Boikot, another classic, would not perform due to a band member's health issues, and Def con Dos took their place.

The festival opened with Kamikazes. The band from Carabanchel (Madrid) released their first album in 2019, following some members' previous stint in Carroña. Yet, they managed to captivate the audience eagerly awaiting the festival's start. Songs like 'Mi tormenta' and 'Puerta de atrás' energised the crowd gathering at the front rows of Villena's Bullring.

Next on stage was El Último ke Zierre. This band never disappoints with their classic punk and the expertise that comes with years of experience. Hits like 'Tus bragas', 'Mi revolución', and 'Vuelta al infierno' had the crowd jumping, with over a hundred people filling the stands. EUKZ's repertoire is full of classics that had the bullring echoing with raspy voices singing along to this blend of romantic and rebellious punk.

Angelus Apatrida followed on stage. The thrash metal band from Albacete fit seamlessly into a lineup dominated by punk bands. They won over the audience from the start with tracks like 'Sharpen the Guillotine' and 'Indoctrinate', two of their dark classics that combine guitar virtuosity with fast rhythms.

Around 7 p.m., Non Servium took the stage. This band was one of the night's most anticipated acts. With Non Servium, Villena's bullring was packed to the brim for the first time. This Oi! music icon, a style derived from punk rock and ska, sent the crowd into a frenzy of dance. Non Servium's social critique, combined with raspy vocals and fast guitar rhythms, make them an engaging mix of styles. Songs like 'El espíritu del Oi!' and 'Seguimos siendo' thrilled the many mohawks in attendance.

Another major act of the night was Lendakaris Muertos. The punk band from the Basque Country always delivers a show full of madness. Tracks like 'El 4k se llevó a mi chica', 'Oso Panda', and 'Veteranos de la Kale Borroka' had the bullring dancing. Singer Aitor Ibarratxe drove the crowd wild as he surfed over them, carried from arm to arm across the venue.

If there was one concert not to be missed, it was Soziedad Alkoholika. The band, which blends punk and metal as if the two genres were made for each other, electrified the stage. Anthems like 'Piedra contra tijera' and 'Cuando nada, vale nada' resonated through Villena's Bullring, sung by thousands of fans swept up in the power of the Basque group.

Def con Dos was the surprise of the night, as Boikot, the band originally scheduled to perform, had to cancel due to a member's health issues. The organisers then confirmed Def con Dos for the penultimate show of the night. The fusion of rap and metal by this band lifted the audience. 'De cacería' and 'Sigo siendo heterosexual' showcased their frenetic style, with a healthy dose of social critique and irony, leaving no one disappointed.

The grand finale of the tenth edition of F*ck Censorship was delivered by Reincidentes. The Andalusian punk rock band blasted through the bullring speakers with a cry of social critique and struggle. 'Vicio', '¡Ay! Dolores', and 'La Republicana' had the audience singing until they were hoarse. Additionally, the band paid tribute to Villena's own Maniática, a former band of one of their members, by playing several songs, including 'Lo que nos queda' and 'Eres libre'. A gesture appreciated by the crowd, who went wild for these tracks.

El F*ck Censorship has concluded its tenth anniversary in a year of successes, with near-full capacity, buses bringing attendees from across the peninsula, and a dedicated audience enjoying this edition. The organisers wasted no time and have already put tickets on sale for 2026. The lineup, still holding some surprises, includes bands like Narco, Koma, and Kaotico.
