One of the leaders of Real Madrid's Grada Fans, the well-known ultra Carlos Clara, president of the La Clásica supporters' club, was convicted on Monday for assault and injuries to another club member during a fight in September 2021. Carlos Clara must compensate the victim for the injuries sustained (broken teeth, jaw, and hearing loss), as reported by Relevo, although the Public Prosecutor's Office had requested a sentence of one and a half years in prison for the Real Madrid radical.

Before the Real Madrid-Celta match held at the Bernabéu over three years ago, Carlos Clara, along with some friends, confronted another Real Madrid fan in a restaurant near the stadium, and when another intervened in his defence, he received a beating that caused serious injuries, requiring hospitalisation.

Carlos Clara continues to organise trips for the La Clásica supporters' club with Real Madrid during Champions League matches and regularly accesses the Bernabéu's fan section. However, following the court ruling, the Anti-Violence Commission will propose banning him from entering sports venues.

As one of the leaders of Real Madrid's Grada Fans, Carlos Clara is a regular at the club's social events, which has never banned his entry to the Bernabéu despite his involvement in several violent incidents inside the stadium. He has also not been expelled as a club member.
