The court has accepted the lawsuit filed by Isabel Pantoja against Mediaset, as well as against several journalists, collaborators of programs like Sálvame, and production companies linked to the audiovisual group. The singer claims that her right to honour, privacy, and the protection of particularly sensitive data, related to her medical history, have been violated. Consequently, she is demanding over five million euros, with an estimated amount of around 500,000 euros per person sued for moral damages.
Her lawyer, Eduardo de Urbano, has highlighted the significant psychological toll that the rumours and leaks have had on the artist. In this regard, he stated that his client wishes to focus on her musical career, lamenting that she cannot do so due to the "unbearable harassment" she has been subjected to.
It is expected that in the coming weeks, proceedings will begin, and the first hearings will take place, which may lead to possible charges.
The news emerged just days after Isabel Pantoja's name appeared on the list of major debtors of the Tax Agency, associated with a debt of one million euros. Alongside her name, other well-known figures such as Bertín Osborne, Luis Miguel Rodríguez—popularly known as "el Chatarrero"—and Mario Conde were also listed.
