Last Weekend to Use Villena's Consumption Vouchers

Villena's consumption vouchers expire on November 24th, marking the final weekend to use them. The Office of Economic Development and Promotion estimates that around 100,000 euros are still to be redeemed among local businesses participating in this 2024 campaign.

The 2024 consumption vouchers have introduced a total of 746,000 euros into the campaign to boost local commercial purchases. This amount is subsidised by the Provincial Council of Alicante by 50%, with the remainder covered by the voucher holder. As in previous campaigns, vouchers can be purchased in values of 20, 50, 100, and 200 euros, with the consumer contributing half of this amount.

The Councillor for Commerce, Paula García, highlighted the "significant boost this campaign provides to our local commerce, benefiting both industry professionals and consumers. Additionally, it allows us to promote many establishments, shops, and services that, thanks to this campaign, become known to the general public."

García advised taking advantage of this weekend to exhaust the vouchers to avoid losing the contributed amount and enjoy the benefits offered, as unused vouchers are non-recoverable.
