LaLiga and the Spanish Football Federation have issued a brief joint statement announcing that Barcelona will not be able to definitively register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. Both entities maintain the arguments previously communicated to the club regarding the impossibility of re-registering the two players after their contracts were terminated on December 31.

LaLiga has allowed Barcelona to sign players since the early hours of the morning, having returned to the 1:1 rule, but it prohibits the re-registration of both footballers.

The next step for Barcelona will be through legal channels. The club will approach the Superior Sports Council next Tuesday, a day before the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, to request precautionary measures.
