After the tension unleashed last Sunday, November 3, in Paiporta during the visit of the Kings, the presidents of the Government and the Valencian Council and other authorities, it was announced this Tuesday that the monarchs will return to the ground zero to visit some of the municipalities devastated by the DANA with the intention of being close to those affected and showing their support again.

Last week, the City Council of Chiva, one of the localities that the entourage planned to visit on Sunday, November 3, revealed on social media that it had received the commitment from the Royal House for the Kings to visit the locality "soon," so it may be one of the places Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will visit next week.

The one returning to Valencia this Tuesday is the King, in a visit that aims to learn firsthand about the work being done by the Armed Forces with the victims of the DANA from last October 29. It is the second time the monarch visits the affected areas. Then, the images of the residents of Paiporta, the ground zero of the DANA in the Valencian Community, erupting in despair and helplessness in the form of mud and shouts of "Murderers!" as the royal entourage passed, which also included the head of the Executive Pedro Sánchez and the president of the Generalitat Carlos Mazón, went around the world.

The King will not be in any affected area today

In his visit today, the King will not be in any area affected by the storm and will limit himself to touring the facilities where the military have their bases for their support interventions to the victims of the storm that hit the province of Valencia.

The first stop of his visit will be the Jaime I Base in Bétera, where he is expected to arrive at the beginning of the afternoon. This is the place from where all the actions being carried out by the Armed Forces, which are collaborating in the restoration of the places damaged by the DANA, are coordinated. The base was already visited by the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles, last Saturday, accompanied by the head general of the UME, Javier Marcos, where she was interested in the deployment of the military across the provinces.
