In line with other European monarchies such as Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, King Harald of Norway has implemented significant changes to the structure of the Royal Family immediately following his daughter Marta Luisa's wedding to shaman Durek Verrett. This discreet yet meaningful move has been reflected on the official website, where the institution is now referred to as the "Royal House," limiting the list of official members to King Harald and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and their daughter, Princess Ingrid Alexandra. Other family members, such as Prince Sverre Magnus and Princess Marta Luisa, are now listed under a new category called "other members of the royalty," without the title of royal highness.

This adjustment reflects the monarch's intention to streamline the active royal core and avoid ambiguities about who represents the crown. Consequently, neither shaman Durek Verrett, Marta Luisa's recent husband, nor their daughters appear in this new structure. Marius Borg, the son Crown Princess Mette-Marit had before her marriage, has also disappeared from the website following his arrest on August 4th for physically and psychologically assaulting a woman, actions he admitted while citing mental health issues.
