King Felipe VI will finally travel alone to Jordan and shorten his visit to this country, according to Zarzuela this Wednesday, after it was indicated the day before that the program was being reconsidered given the situation in the region.
According to the Royal House, the monarch will not be accompanied by Queen Letizia on what was to be their first official trip to the Hashemite kingdom, and the agenda will be reduced to just two days, Saturday and Sunday.
Late Tuesday, after Iran attacked Israel with two hundred missiles that in some cases flew over Jordanian airspace, Zarzuela notified that, in contact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Jordanian Royal House, "given the circumstances" they were "reexamining the format and program of the trip."
Now, the Royal House has clarified that the Queen will not accompany King Felipe, who is expected to travel with Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, and that the trip will be shortened by one day, lasting only over the weekend.
