Kawasaki has worked hard to improve the already impressive current Z900. For the Z900 2025, a more pronounced Sugomi design stands out, catching the eye with a sharper and more avant-garde image with metallic details while hinting at tremendous performance.
In terms of performance, the 948cc inline four-cylinder engine revs up quickly and has more mid-range torque, offering more precise throttle control thanks to new electronic throttle valves, while Kawasaki's sophisticated electronic management systems incorporate an IMU to monitor various functions. To stop all this performance, the new front brakes now feature four-piston radial calipers that offer linear braking feel and exceptional grip on the road thanks to the new Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires.
An important part of the new sharper front design is the new precise and compact headlights, along with an advanced LED rear light with another light-guiding technology to achieve a futuristic design with a 3D avant-garde look. The new brushed aluminum side protectors and other details give the new Z900 a high-quality finish, while the new, more comfortable seat is flatter to allow the rider to move easily and keep attention on the large 5-inch full-color TFT digital instrumentation. To top off this impressive package, the new Z900 comes with standard cruise control.
Now, as a first, the new Kawasaki Z900 offers the "turn-by-turn" navigation system with simplified navigation instructions on the new TFT panel, allowing you to see in advance where the next turn should be made, all through the Rideology the App, which will also offer various voice functions.
Since its arrival in 2012, the Versys model has evolved year after year, earning praise for its versatility on any road, comfort, and ease of riding all day long.
For 2025, this carefully worked evolution takes its next step, and among the changes are an increase in displacement and also an increase in maximum power. Developed by Kawasaki specifically for any type of road, from perfectly paved highways to poorly maintained rural roads, the Versys In-Line Four engine receives an increase in displacement from 1,043 to 1,099cc for 2025 thanks to a three-millimeter longer stroke. At the same time, the maximum power increases from 120 to 135 horsepower.
Additionally, the increase in mid-high range torque makes an already magnificent riding experience even more enjoyable. The new models (Standard, S, and SE, as well as the Versions and luggage options) also receive several updates aimed at enhancing touring potential.
The quick shifter, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), now works from 1,500 revolutions per minute, while the new gear ratios, along with electronic cruise control, improve road comfort. As for engine changes, they include central intake ducts now 45 millimeters longer than the outer intake ducts, improving torque between 4,000 and 7,000 revolutions.
The intake ducts have been optimized to accommodate a change in the throttle body and are now narrower in relation to the bike's increased displacement. The resulting higher intake flow speed in the low and mid-rev range benefits low and mid-range torque. Additionally, the new ECU settings optimized for the engine's larger displacement have revised throttle valve opening characteristics across the rev range, while cam profiles with lower valve lift also contribute to increased low-mid-range torque.
The improvement in handling is also due to a heavier flywheel mass and a balance shaft that reduces excess vibrations, while large connecting tubes join the 1-4 and 2-3 exhaust collectors, contributing to improved performance at any rev range. To keep things under control, an oil radiator has been added in 2025 to improve cooling. Braking has also been revised, with a rear disc increasing from 250 to 260 millimeters in diameter.
The USB-C port is standard, and in terms of electronic aids, the owner of a Versys 1100 will be well served with a range of elements including KTRC traction control, cornering ABS management, power mode and ride mode selections, and for SE owners, Showa suspension with electronic damping. With the convenience of Kawasaki's Rideology smartphone app (now ready for voice commands), you have the ideal tool to explore the planet. Versys 1100.
Following in the silent footsteps of the original Elektrode, the latest model in the family will be available in Europe for 2025.
The Elektrode 20 is a variant of Kawasaki's first electric "Balance bike," the Elektrode 16. Now, with 20-inch tires, the age range has also been expanded to include young people, allowing more audiences to experience off-road fun.
With its striking lime green and black colors characteristic of Kawasaki, the Elektrode 20 is powered by a combination of a 48 V/10.2 Ah (489.6 Wh) battery connected to a 750 W rear wheel motor; a substantial increase over the Elektrode 16's 250 W motor. With the possibility of charging - via the charger and charging cable connected to the battery housed in the frame's down tube - from zero to full charge in four hours with 90% charge in just three hours.
With three selectable speed modes, riders can adjust performance to suit their skills and needs: low, medium, and high, with the comfort of long riding sessions. It is possible to ride a full hour in High mode and longer periods at lower speeds depending on weight, terrain, and use.
The Ninja 1100SX stands out for 2025 with an increase in displacement, from 1043 to 1099cc. But there's much more as it comes with a series of updates and improvements to stay at the forefront of touring superbikes.
Offering more torque across the rev range, the need to shift gears decreases, even more so when gear changes involve new longer fifth and sixth gears. Like its SX predecessors, the latest version perfectly combines its touring and sporting capabilities, and this is manifested in the quick shifter, which now works at less than 1,500 revolutions per minute, allowing smooth shifting at lower engine speeds than before.
Comfort for the rider and passenger is a mandatory motto in the SX, so it's no surprise to find electronic cruise control, power modes, cornering management, K-TRC traction control, and intelligent anti-lock brakes. Add an improved rear disc for even greater braking power, and the good news is that with more displacement and torque, it offers even greater range. Even the tires have been taken to a new level with the adoption of the latest Bridgestone Battlax S23 as standard equipment.
Another novelty is that the Ninja 1100SX now has a sister, an SE edition for the first time. With Brembo M4.32 front brake calipers, brake pump and discs, as well as metal hoses, the SE is also equipped with an Öhlins S46 rear shock with remote preload adjustment. As a touch, the SE model includes standard heated grips.
What both versions share is the ability to connect to an updated version of Kawasaki's exclusive Rideology app, which allows you to adjust aspects of the motorcycle, collect information from the bike via the Smartphone, and also view the routes traveled on the phone screen. Additionally, for 2025, Rideology is ready for voice command application, anticipating the next generation of interactivity between motorcycle and rider.
Sporty or touring, the new Ninja 1100SX is ready to offer a wide range of luggage options, as well as a series of Edition models that can be ordered directly from any Kawasaki dealer. Along with a long list of accessories.
