One year later, the cancer that forced Kate Middleton to step back from her duties is in 'remission'. The Princess of Wales announced this Tuesday after completing her chemotherapy treatment last September. 'It's a relief to be in remission now and I remain focused on recovery,' the future Queen of England stated in a text shared on her Instagram account, accompanied by a photograph of her smiling alongside other patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she was 'so well' cared for last year.
'We couldn't have asked for more. The care and advice we received throughout my time as a patient have been exceptional,' stated the wife of Prince William, who looks forward to 'an exciting year ahead'.
Nevertheless, in a post where she expresses gratitude for the support received during these months, the wife of Prince William, who visited the hospital this Tuesday, acknowledges that 'as anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal'.
