Kim Kardashian Reveals She Paid for Her Engagement Ring to Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian has revealed a surprising detail about her brief marriage to Kris Humphries: the engagement ring with which the NBA player proposed to her in 2011, and which she had to return in the divorce, was mostly paid for by her.

In the latest episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim confessed that Humphries only covered a fifth of the value of the impressive 18-carat ring designed by Lorraine Schwartz. "I bought it. He only contributed a part," she explained. Additionally, she recalled that to finalise her divorce, she was obliged to return the ring. By then, she was already pregnant with her daughter North West.
