Justice Commences Facade Repairs at Benalúa Justice Palace

The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration has commenced works to repair the facades of the Benalúa Justice Palace in Alicante, with an investment totalling 135,182 euros in 2025.

The aim is to undertake partial rehabilitation works on the facades of two buildings that form the Benalúa Justice Palace, where the cladding of the plinth and some window jamb coverings are detaching, according to a statement from the Generalitat.

The judicial headquarters, located at Aguilera Avenue number 53 in Alicante, houses various judicial bodies, such as the Court of First Instance No. 7, Courts of Instruction from 1 to 9, as well as several Criminal Courts, Courts for Violence Against Women, and Juvenile Courts.

The facade work involves removing the existing cladding and replacing it with new cladding using mechanical anchoring, in addition to adhering the pieces to the facade closure to prevent future detachment. The intervention covers a total cladding area of 375 square metres.

The facade works will not interfere with the normal functioning of the judicial headquarters, emphasised the regional administration.

This intervention is part of the Generalitat's "commitment" to modernising the judicial real estate park of the Valencian Community. Improving judicial infrastructure is "a priority objective, aimed at providing citizens and professionals in the judicial field with safer, more accessible, and efficient spaces."
