Julián Muñoz Dies in Marbella at 76

Julián Muñoz has died in Marbella at the age of 76, a victim of cancer that he himself described as "aggressive". The ex-partner of Isabel Pantoja in the town where he was mayor was surrounded by his family, who have not left his side since he was diagnosed with the disease last April.

His wife, Mayte Zaldívar, whom he remarried on January 30, 2024, after marital ups and downs; his daughters, Eloísa and Elia; and his grandchildren have supported him during his illness, which has often required hospital admissions.
